Microsoft 於今日 (10 月 17 日) 正式推出 Windows 10 秋季創意者更新 (Fall Creators Update)，代號 Redstone 3 (RS3) 版本 1709， 所有 Windows 10 使用者都可以免費獲得升級，用戶近期內將陸續收到自動更新的推送。

首個測試版 Build 15140.1001 自 2 月 20 日發佈起經歷了 7 個多月，最終以 10 月 3 日發佈的 Build 16299.15 定為 RTM，是 Windows 10 的第五個正式版。

Windows 10 秋季創意者更新主要增加了以下功能：

• 流暢設計體系 (Fluent Design System)；
• Windows 混合實景 (Mixed Reality)；
• 眼球控制 (Eye Control) ；
• 重新設計的相片 (Photos) 及影片 (Videos) 應用；
• OneDrive 檔案隨選 (Files on Demand) ；
• 在電腦上繼續 (Continue on PC) 。

至於 Windows Story Remix、雲剪貼簿 (Cloud Clipboard) 及時間軸 (Timeline) 則跳票到明年上半年推出的 RS4。
